- Explain the effect of temperature, water and fertility on the life cycle of a plant
- Select suitable examples of a range of cuttings including softwoods, hardwood, semi-hardwood, herbaceous, nodal, intermodal, heeled, mallet, leaf and root
- Insert cuttings in a rooting medium using appropriate techniques and materials
- Demonstrate the correct technique of layering and division
- Sow a selection of seeds using appropriate techniques and materials, indoors or outdoors,
